Spartans de Distrito Capital Caracas (SPB) agreed terms with 21-year old Dominican power forward Luismal Ferreiras (200cm-2003, agency: BMS Sport Agency) for new 2024 season. Ferreiras played recently at Pueblo Nuevo in Santiago League in Dominican Republic. He helped them to win the Santiago League title.
Ferreiras has played also professionally for other Dominican Rep. teams like Mauricio Baez, Parque Hostos, Indios and Immortals.
Despite young age he had impressive career. He was voted Latinbasket.com All-Dominican Republic LNB Domestic Player of the Year in 2023.
